Sperm Separation Chip Increases Probability of Successful Infertility Treatment
Ravan Sazeh Company, a member of Iran International Innovation District has developed the infertility treatment by producing a Sperm Separation Chip.
Using microfluidic technology, this chip separates healthy sperm with higher quality and less damage than traditional methods and increases the probability of success in assisted reproductive methods such as IVF by 50%.
In addition to reducing treatment costs, this achievement has significantly saved currency.
Separation of healthy sperm from defective sperm is one of the methods used in the treatment of infertility.
In common methods such as density gradient and centrifugation, sperm separation along with DNA fragmentation and serious damage to sperm, the effectiveness of sperms decreases.
CEO of Ravan Sazeh Company Majid Hosseini said that Sperm Separation Chip is used in the isolation and selection of healthy and high-quality sperm for using in therapeutic processes such as In vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), and other assisted reproductive methods.
Unlike traditional methods such as gradient centrifugation that may damage sperms, our product uses advanced technology that separates sperms with minimal damage and 90% reduction in risk and maximum quality, he said.
This helps to maintain the integrity and mobility of sperms, he added.
The Sperm Separation Chip produced by Ravan Sazeh Company is used in various fields related to fertility and infertility treatments, especially in infertility treatment centers and specialized IVF clinics.
