The final stage of the second round of the Kans Scientific Competition was held with the presence of 20 nominees from Iran, Malaysia and Bangladesh, introducing the winners in the Inotex 2022 exhibition of Pardis Technology Park.

 Reported by news agency of Pardis Technology Park, in the rounds of kans competition, Scientific and technological achievements in the forms of economics, banking and finance, water, environment and energy, health and medtech, information and communication technology, transportation, mining and mineral industries was exhibited. and the nominees defended their competitive plans.

 In the field of Water, Environment and Energy, Mehdi Maleki, PhD in Materials with a Renewable energy management, Woei Jye Lau, Assistant Professor of Malaysia University of Technology with The Next Generation Membranes for Water Desalination, Hadi Atapour, Faculty Member of Sharif University of Technology with Simulation System Design, Hamed Sadeghi, A faculty member of Sharif University of Technology with a multiphase pair simulation laboratory design, were selected in this level.

The Final nominees in Economics, Banking and Finance includes Hassan Ban, Fetik Consultant at the Islamic Financial Association of Iran with Halal Centralized Digital Money Plan, Mehdi Nouri lecturer of Tehran University with a Digital Money Implementation idea at the Central Bank, Saeedeh Mumtazi, Amirkabir University Faculty Member with designing a detected fraudulent transaction and credit cards with the help of artificial intelligence were all selected in this field.

 Those who qualified in information and communication technology field are:  Hossein Zabihi, Master of Robotics with the plan of introducing interactive technology into the children's life, Mehrdad Agha Mohammad Ali Kermani, faculty member of Iran University of Science and Technology with the mining process software device and Mohammad Ali Akhaei with the design of making your own animation system, were selected in this area.

 In the Mining and Mineral Industries group, Hossein Molayemat was selected with the zoning plan of coal gas extraction zones, Iraj Arsalan Siraj with the alpha robot designed to facilitate mining affairs, and Aida Mirheydari with the hypo technology and modeling design were also chosen in this round.

  4 people were selected in the health and medical technology field: Mohammad Ali Khayamian with Hypercytokinemia Project for COVID-19 patients, Alireza Mirbagheri with Sina Remote Sensing Robotic System Project, Pike See Cheah who is a Malaysian Doctor of Neurology with Memory Improvement Project and finally Dr. Sayed Ali Mousavi Shayegh, Faculty Member of Mashhad University with a manufacturing Covid-19 vaccine production machine.

 In the transportation group, Saeed Bostan Manesh Moghadam with the design of Driver behavior and drowsiness detection system, Ripon Hore with the design of the Dynamic Behavior of Wrap Faced Embankment on Soft Soil and Amir Hossein Moghadam Soltani with the design of the emergency stop system of the intelligent escalator reached to this round of contest.

 Ali Akbar Salehi, Vice President of the Iranian Academy of Sciences, Saeed Sohrabpour, the chief adviser of Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Elites Foundation, and Mehdi Saffarinia, president of Pardis Technology Park, were the guests of this course.

It is reported that top six winners will receive:

– KANS Medal and a plaque of appreciation

– 30-gram Gold Insignia

– Sabbatical worth $2000

– Special privileges for benefiting from MSTF networking platforms: STEP & EISA.

Furthermore, every solution for challenges declared by international institutes, will be handed over to related institute in order to cooperate and commercialize the solution, if desired.
