The judging process for Danova 2025 at Iran International Innovation District (IIID) has begun with a precise, multi-layered and professional framework that, according to the head of the judging team, ensures no project advances to the final selection stage without thorough technical, expert and economic evaluation.

The head of the Danova judging team, Bazmara, announced that project evaluation at Danova 2025 is being conducted through a structured multi-stage process. In the first step, general judges review all submitted projects to identify those that meet the basic criteria and general requirements defined for the event. Only projects that pass this initial filter are allowed to move forward to in-person judging.

At this stage, the general judges check each project for alignment with the event’s core needs and baseline standards. Projects that are deemed compliant are then forwarded to the specialized judging panel for deeper evaluation.

According to Bazmara, the second stage of judging is carried out by an experienced and highly specialized panel with a strong track record in technical and technology assessment. They examine each project in detail across several dimensions, including problem definition, proposed solution, technical feasibility, reliability of outputs, scalability and development potential, and economic viability.

Bazmara stressed that in this stage, all aspects of the project are scrutinized to determine whether the idea can realistically be implemented, scaled and commercialized. At the end of the specialized review, a final score is recorded for each project. However, a third stage has been built into the process to handle any objections or ambiguities that may arise.

In the third stage, if needed, projects are re-examined to ensure that no participant’s rights are overlooked and that all teams are treated fairly and transparently.

Following completion of the full judging cycle, top projects in each track will be announced and recognized during the Danova 2025 closing ceremony.

Danova 2025 is being held at IIID with the aim of identifying, supporting and empowering school and teenage talents in scientific and technological fields, and its judging mechanism is considered one of the most critical components of the event.

The precise, multi-stage process reflects the organizers’ commitment to running a transparent, fair and professional competition designed to surface the most promising ideas from the next generation of technology innovators in Iran.
