VP Stresses Chaining Knowledge-Based Firms to Achieve Macro Economies

Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Roohollah Dehghani Firoozabadi said that the process of chaining knowledge-based companies to achieve macro economies will be materialized through technology parks’ support.

Start-ups are created by people, and are considered as starting point of the movement towards becoming knowledge-based, he said.

Meanwhile, what is important is to complete the path of this movement and support them, he added.

The prerequisite for success in line with becoming knowledge-based is the process of chaining and joining these start-up companies to achieve greater economies, he added.

We have prioritized full implementation of the surge in knowledge-based production with all available capacities, he noted.

The complete implementation of this law is regarded as a milestone in line with science, technology and economy progress, he said adding that the main goal of this law is to create employment, promote knowledge-based production, ensure public security and welfare, and increase the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) with the help of knowledge-based companies.

The start of any business requires an environment and Pardis Technology Park paves the way for developing science and knowledge.

In addition to providing a suitable work environment, it has also been effective in providing equipment for start-up companies and introducing them to the national and global markets, Dehghani Firoozabadi said.
