VP Urges D-8 to Put on Agenda Establishing 10 Super Companies With $1b Worth of Capital

Vice President for science, technology and knowledge-based economy Roohollah Dehqani Firoozabadi described the young, capable and technological manpower and the God-given territorial and economic capacities as Iran's characteristics.

Addressing TIM2023 opening ceremony, Dehqani Firoozabadi Referred to the high capacity of the D8 member states, saying that having one-eighth of the world's population and 60% of the Muslim population, along with special opportunities such as connection with the sea, mines, energy, capable human resources, the education and research market, and the consumption of innovation, is a special position for these countries.

TIM2023 is of interest and importance, and the development of international cooperation is on the agenda of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added.

Creating a trans-country with great economic opportunities and an extensive market with cultural and intellectual affinities and human and territorial opportunities by the D8 countries can help develop these countries, he stated.

He also stressed creating large technology companies and beyond small startups, as well as establishing several global brands in global development.

He urged the D8 member states to promote their mission promotion by developing cooperation and creating joint funds.
