Bridging Ideas and Capital at Kish Invex 2025: Tech Investment Deals Sealed for IRR 1.38 Trillion
At the “National Technology and Investable Projects Showcase” held on the sidelines of Kish Invex 2025, 44 innovative technology projects with an estimated total value of IRR 13 trillion were presented to investors, resulting in two signed investment contracts worth IRR 1.38 trillion and several other projects entering advanced negotiations.
The “National Technology and Investable Projects Showcase” was organized by Iran National Techmart in cooperation with the Iran International Innovation District (IIID) on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, alongside the Kish Invex 2025 international exhibition.
The event brought together investors, Venture Capital (VC) funds, major industrial corporations, and selected technologists from across the country. A portfolio of 44 innovative and scalable technology projects—valued at approximately IRR 13 trillion—was introduced for potential investment by Iran National Techmart and the Iran International Innovation District.
During focused matchmaking meetings and direct negotiations between investors and technology owners, two investment contracts totaling IRR 1.38 trillion were finalized. Several other projects entered deeper due diligence and post-event negotiation phases, with additional investment agreements expected in the coming weeks.
The Iran National Techmart pavilion at Kish Invex 2025 served as a highly active and specialized hub, enabling close interaction among innovation ecosystem stakeholders, investors, and technology providers. The core objective of the event was to streamline capital attraction for high-potential technology projects and to build effective bridges between technology suppliers and private-sector investors.
In line with Iran’s national science and technology roadmap and directives from the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and the Vice Presidency for Scientific, Technological and Knowledge-Based Economy Affairs, Iran National Techmart is mandated to establish, develop, and organize regional and sectoral Techmarts. Under the national regulations approved by the First Vice President—who also chairs the Board of Trustees of Pardis Technology Park—Techmart is responsible for coordinating technology brokers and maintaining the national technology database.
Furthermore, based on a resolution by the Council of Ministers regarding the establishment of the Iran International Innovation District, Iran National Techmart is tasked with launching the national technology trading floor, organizing technology brokers at both national and international levels, and supporting the expansion of exports of knowledge-based products.
