Champions Retain Titles at IIID’s Annual Half-Endurance Race
The Iran International Innovation District (IIID) hosted its 10th Half-Endurance Race, drawing more than 100 enthusiastic runners from member technology companies in two age categories. Last year’s champions successfully retained their titles in a spirited and competitive event.
The 10th edition of the IIID half-endurance race, covering a 1.6 km round-trip in the heart of the district, brought together over 100 employees from resident technology companies for a spirited and competitive event.
The race was divided into two age categories—under and over 40 years—with both defending champions securing first place once again. The event was marked by energetic competition and high participant engagement, reinforcing IIID’s mission to create a vibrant and healthy workplace environment.
Amin Reza Khaleghian, Director General of Communications and International Affairs at Pardis Technology Park, highlighted that promoting physical activity among employees working in innovation-driven fields is essential for both physical and mental well-being, as many spend extended hours at their desks. He expressed hopes that continuing such events would encourage a culture of fitness and camaraderie among members.
This annual sports and cultural gathering not only boosts morale but also strengthens networking among technology-based companies, making it a cornerstone of IIID’s community-building initiatives.
