Closing Ceremony of 5th SADAF Empowerment Plan Event and Specialized Boot Camp In Mechanics Held

The closing ceremony of the 5th SADAF Empowerment Plan Event and Specialized Boot Camp was held with the presence of more than 250 university students and graduates in Iran International Innovation District.

In this ceremony, the poster of the 6th edition of SADAF Empowerment Plan Event and Specialized Boot Camp was also unveiled.

The purpose of this project, which started with the cooperation of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, is to teach soft skills to university students and graduates, Mojtaba Jabaripour, vice president of Pardis Technology Park for development and innovation said.

The effective role of students in Iran’s innovation and technology ecosystem, getting to know this ecosystem and designing a career path are among the goals of this project.

Bootcamps are complementary to SADAF Empowerment Plan and improve students' technical skills, he stated.

In these bootcamps, the requirements of the labor market are collected, he noted.

Meanwhile, Abbasi Feshmi, Director General of Innovation Cluster Promotion and Development, Pardis Technology Park said that the first round of the event was held with the participation of more than 400 people in Tehran province. The second, third and fourth rounds were held in more provinces and more than 1,000 people participated in each edition.

Students from various fields such as computer, electricity, chemistry, management, industrial engineering, accounting and law participated in the 5th SADAF Empowerment Plan Event and out of more than 1,000 resumes received, 511 job interviews were arranged and 215 people have entered the internship course.

In the meantime, Head of Iran's National Elites Foundation Ali Nikbakht said that participants in SADAF Empowerment Plan can use the privileges of Iran's National Elites Foundation

The participants in Specialized Boot Camp also listed soft skills training, applied specialized topics, doing practical projects, adapting the training to the actual needs of the market, and the complementarity of academic topics among the features of this bootcamp.
