A workshop on supply chain resilience was held at Iran International Innovation District (IIID) with the participation of Reza Alikhani, Assistant Professor at Montpellier Business School (MBS), France. The session explored resilience concepts, disruptions in global supply chains, and frameworks for enhancing organizational capabilities.
Iran International Innovation District (IIID) hosted a workshop on supply chain resilience led by Reza Alikhani, Assistant Professor at Montpellier Business School (MBS), France. Alikhani presented his research findings and discussed key concepts, including defining resilience in supply chains, addressing global disruptions, and evaluating resilience performance frameworks.

Alikhani, who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tehran and has completed postdoctoral research at leading European and American business schools, is an active researcher in the application of operations research in supply chain systems. His work has been published in prominent international scientific journals, earning recognition within the global academic community.

During the workshop, examples of major disruptions in international supply chains were examined, along with strategies for increasing resilience in organizations. Alikhani emphasized the importance of adopting systematic approaches to mitigate risks and improve supply chain robustness.

This initiative reflects IIID’s commitment to fostering knowledge-sharing and equipping businesses with tools to navigate challenges in the global economy.
