Iran’s Largest Gathering of Young Innovators Kicks Off at IIID as “Danova 2025” Showcases a New Wave of Teen Creativity
The fourth edition of the “Danova” student innovation festival has opened at the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), bringing together hundreds of creative students from across the country for a three-day event. From more than 6,500 submitted ideas and projects, 300 top concepts have advanced to the presentation stage, turning the festival into a major national celebration of teenage innovation.
The 2025 Danova national event started with strong participation from young innovators, teachers, and families, setting a new record in student-centered innovation activities. This year’s call attracted over 6,500 ideas and projects from school students nationwide, underscoring the growing momentum of the youth innovation ecosystem in Iran.
Following three stages of expert screening and rigorous evaluation, 300 top ideas were selected as finalists. These projects are being presented and showcased today by their student creators in the main Danova exhibition hall.
In addition to the exhibition area, a dedicated “Teen Expo” hall is hosting leading projects that have passed the final evaluation round. A selected group of these projects will proceed to main-stage pitches and direct interaction with young investors and entrepreneurship mentors.
Several parallel activities are adding further dynamism to the event, including robotics competitions held in three separate leagues, with teenage teams from various provinces competing in different categories.
Danova aims to provide a national platform for showcasing the talents of the new generation, strengthening an entrepreneurial mindset among students, and familiarizing teenagers with future career paths in science, technology, and innovation-driven sectors.
The fourth Danova student innovation festival will run until Thursday, 20 November 2025, at the Iran International Innovation District, welcoming visitors—especially teenagers and young people—from across the country.
