Minister of Science and Technology Development of Zimbabwe Amon Murwira said that Zimbabwe and Iran can establish useful and fruitful cooperation in various fields, including knowledge-based.

Speaking on the sidelines of the INOTEX 2024, Murwira referred to Iran’s cooperation in technology field.

During the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s visit to Zimbabwe, several MoUs were signed in scientific, industrial machinery and agricultural drones.

Accordingly, we are developing relations with Iran, he stressed.

Referring to the exchange of students between Zimbabwe and Iran, he said it can lead to the growth of academic and scientific relations between the two countries.

A comprehensive document is on the agenda in this regard and will be implemented soon, he said.
