MOU On Implementation of Electricity Industry Projects Signed in Pardis Technology Park

During the meeting which was held for exchanging capacities of knowledge-based and technological companies with Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company in Pardis Technology Park, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two sides.

The event was held in the presence of the president of Pardis Technology Park Mehdi Saffarinia and the Head of Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company Habib Gharagozloo.

During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed for the implementation of electricity industry projects, which are estimated to be worth 200 billion tomans.

Saffarinia presented a report on the PTP’s activities and the achievements made by knowledge-based companies over the last few years.

Referring to the agreement between Pardis Technology Park and the Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company, he said that Pardis Technology Park, as the flag-bearer of the country's knowledge-based economy, is trying to lead knowledge-based companies to serve organizations in various economic fields.

Today's agreement between Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company and Pardis Technology Park can be considered as an effective step towards indigenizing the country's electricity industry in the field of joint cooperation between the park and Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company.

Meanwhile, Gharagozloo said that Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company, as the largest regional electricity company in the country, is responsible for transferring about 20% of the country's electricity to Tehran, Alborz and Qom provinces.

He also stressed taking advantage of the capacity of knowledge-based companies.

He hailed the good capacity and potential for cooperation between knowledge-based companies and Greater Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company, saying that the company has been successful in the first project of cooperation with Pardis Technology Park’s knowledge-based companies.
