 The Mustafa Prize, a significant scientific and technological event, is currently being held in Iran. This prestigious award recognizes top researchers and scientists from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.

It symbolizes scientific excellence, honoring the outstanding scientists and pioneers of scientific and technological cooperation and development in the world.

• The Prize and Its Impact

First awarded in 2015, the Mustafa Prize has been called the “Muslim Nobel” by some.

It is granted biennially during the Islamic Unity week in Iran, with laureates receiving a $500,000 prize, a medal, and a diploma.

The award seeks to honor Muslim researchers and scientists, regardless of their domicile. Non-Muslim scientists in Muslim countries are also eligible for this prestigious award.
