On December 24, 2025, executives and experts from Refah Bank Innovation Center (Rafatech) conducted a specialized tour of the Azadi Innovation Factory to engage directly with startups, aiming to strengthen ties between financial institutions and Iran’s innovation ecosystem.

During the visit, Rafatech managers met with startups operating at the Azadi Innovation Factory and the Plant Innovation Center, gaining firsthand insight into emerging technologies and scalable business models within the national innovation ecosystem.

The program focused on identifying cooperation opportunities between startups and financial institutions, enhancing synergy across key innovation stakeholders, and exploring pathways for developing next-generation financial and fintech services.

Three startups—Omrafza, Smart Ride, and RizAmooz—presented their products and solutions. Omrafza showcased technologies designed to extend the operational lifespan of industrial equipment, Smart Ride introduced smart transportation solutions, and RizAmooz highlighted its microlearning and skills-based education platforms.

Rafatech executives emphasized that direct engagement with startups plays a critical role in advancing innovative financial services and fostering sustainable collaboration between banks and technology-driven ventures within IIID.
