Pardis Technology Park President Elaborates on Iran's International Innovation District Functions

President of Pardis Technology Park, referred to the cabinet’s approval to establish Iran's International Innovation District, saying that various institutions have duties to promote this zone, and Pardis Technology Park will also manage this zone.

Iran’s International Innovation District is a comprehensive ecosystem of work and life with the aim of developing technology and innovation in the country, Mahdi Saffarinia said addressing the opening ceremony of Iran’s International Innovation District.

Iran’s International Innovation District was established to improve the country's global position in technology and innovation and turning Iran into a technology hub of the Islamic world, increasing the share of technology and knowledge-based industries in the economy and national income, and achieving advanced science and technology, he added.

Health, information and communication technology, microelectronics, artificial intelligence, renewable energy and finance are among priorities of the district, he noted.
