Radio fans are always frustrated when they enter the tunnels because of the lack of antenna, and worst of all when their favorite program is playing and the tunnels are full of traffic.

Now, thanks to the efforts of one of the domestic knowledge-based companies, this problem has been solved and we can promise them that the sound of the radio in the tunnels will no longer be interrupted.

Fara Afrand Company was established with the aim of indigenizing the industry of radio and television transmitters and focusing on high power transmitters in Iran.

Repeater of 10 FM radio programs and 6 kW digital TV liquid cooling transmitter with 2 Hz technology are the two products of this company in the field of radio and television.

The FM repeater has been designed and produced for the first time in Iran to cover areas where FM radio does not have enough penetration, such as tunnels or mountainous roads, CEO of Fara Afrand Company Mahdi Ahmadi said.

Elaborating on the performance of this product, he said that, an FM receiver antenna is connected at the entrance of the tunnel or where there is still FM radio coverage.

This device allows the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting to set the channels that they want to have their programs broadcast in the tunnel, he noted.
