Iran’s Vice-President Mohammad Reza Aref underlined that the government is determined to use advanced technology.

Addressing the closing ceremony of Tech Olympics 2024, Aref said that increasing the national wealth through science and technology and technological achievements is on the agenda.

Stressing the country's immunity against the conspiracies of the enemies, especially in the scientific and technological debate, he said: We must establish the security, scientific and livelihood immunity.

We need a national determination to reach the first scientific position in the region, he reiterated.

The participation of 810 students in the cyber security section of Tech Olympics 2024 shows that the students are well acquainted with the importance of this issue.

He called for increasing the share of economy based on digital technology and knowledge-based economy to 10% with the help of youth and university graduates.

According to global statistics, the value of the artificial intelligence market in the region was $500 million in 2020, and it will reach $4.8 billion by 2026, Aref said.
