100,000 Muslim scientists attend Mustafa Prize network

"100,000 scientists from the Islamic world participating in the Mustafa prize programs are in its network, who have been identified from 900 global scientific centers", head of Mustafa prize Mahdi Saffari Nia said.

According to the surveys, the number of scientists and researchers who published at least one scientific document is about 70 million people in the world, Saffari Nia said.

He added that over 3 million people are scientific activists in the Islamic world, which make up about 4% of the world's researchers.

He noted that Mustafa Prize laureates have been effective in the world and their knowledge have been commercialized.

Mustafa Prize has paved the way for young scientists to have study opportunities, he said.

Three universities in Pakistan, Turkey and Iran have so far defined research opportunities for scientists, he stated.
