From IIID to Global Markets: Kavandish System Honored as Iran’s Leading High-Tech Exporter

Kavandish System, a knowledge-based company and one of the first members of the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), has been recognized as the country’s top exporter of high-tech products in 2025 during the National Export Day ceremony.

Established in 1995, Kavandish System began its journey with the design and production of medical equipment and has since become one of Iran’s leading developers of advanced medical technologies. The company is credited with producing the first Iranian-made electrosurgical unit (electrocautery), developed and mass-produced using domestic expertise. Its products meet the strictest global standards and have been endorsed by top Iranian surgeons.

The official recognition was granted during the 29th National Export Day ceremony, attended by Iran’s President and Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, where Hamidreza Kaviani, CEO of Kavandish System, was honored for the company’s outstanding international performance.

With a strong presence in regional and global markets, the company’s success reflects IIID’s mission of “Innovative Production, Smart Exporting” — showcasing the capability of Iran’s innovation ecosystem to expand its reach worldwide.
