IIID and Russian Chamber of Commerce Sign Technological Cooperation MoU

On October 22, 2025, the Iran International Innovation District (IIID) hosted a high-level delegation from the Russian Chamber of Commerce, led by Vice President Dmitry Korachkin, resulting in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to expand bilateral technology trade, innovation partnerships, and access to regional economic blocs such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The Russian delegation visited specialized technology exhibitions and toured leading knowledge-based companies, including Zist-Takhmir and Aria Teb, gaining direct insight into Iran’s advanced innovation ecosystem.

Hamedi Baharifar, Head of the Technology Trade Development Center at Pardis Technology Park, presented the district’s mission, achievements, and extensive collaboration potential, highlighting the strategic importance of international cooperation for boosting exports of knowledge-based products.

A joint roundtable, attended by technology companies from both nations, explored ways to expand technology exports, simplify financial and banking transactions, and leverage regional cooperation frameworks. President of Pardis Technology Park, Mehdi Saffari-Nia, emphasized priority measures to overcome barriers and accelerate joint commercial and technological initiatives.

Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce, Dmitry Korachkin, described the district as “dynamic and attractive,” noting abundant opportunities for collaboration both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks. The visit also included discussions on co-developing financial mechanisms, joint innovation projects, and long-term market strategies for technology exchange.
