When Innovation Becomes a Shared Language: Vietnam Ambassador Visits IIID
Vietnam’s Ambassador to Tehran visited the Iran International Innovation District (IIID) to explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation in technology, innovation, and investment—an engagement that could mark the beginning of new interactions between the innovation ecosystems of Iran and Vietnam.
Nguyen Luong Ngoc, Vietnam’s Ambassador to Tehran, toured the Iran International Innovation District (IIID) to gain firsthand insight into the capabilities and achievements of its member companies.
During the visit, Mehdi Saffari-Nia, President of Pardis Technology Park, highlighted the park’s 24-year track record and introduced key components of IIID, including the Iran International Innovation & Technology Exhibition (INOTEX), TechOlympics, and the district’s commercial and development capacities.
The Vietnamese ambassador stated that the primary objective of the visit was to familiarize himself with IIID and assess potential areas for defining joint cooperation in technology, innovation, and technology-driven investment.
Referring to IIID’s existing capacities, Nguyen Luong Ngoc emphasized the strong potential for collaboration in areas such as INOTEX, TechOlympics, and technology investment, noting that follow-up actions would proceed through the exchange of relevant documentation.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Vietnamese delegation toured the permanent exhibition of achievements at Pardis Technology Park, as well as the medical equipment exhibition hosted within the park.
